Salary: £33,180.78 Per Annum
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Rolling rota, 5 days out of 7, includes weekends
Location: Pimlico Pathway Services, Westminster
ResponsibilitiesThe Activities Co ordinator is responsible for the development of a comprehensive directory of services and opportunities for customers of Riverside's Supported Housing Schemes, ensuring empowerment and independence. They will develop local links to maximise opportunities for individual growth, provide support and advice to the team, and design an organic programme of group activities across the pathway.
Role Profile- Delivering a 'best practice' support service, appropriate to customers' needs.
- Co ordinating customer activities and supporting Journey Coaches in the development and delivery of support/resettlement activities.
- Ensuring delivery of an internal and external activities programme reflecting diverse customer needs, including culture and diversity issues.
- Assisting Journey Coaches to support customers with day to day tenancy issues, payment of rent, claiming benefits and linking to external resources.
- Supporting with referrals and assessments, identifying appropriate activity solutions, and ensuring access to relevant external support services.
- Supporting Journey Coaches to meet target outcomes through plans, risk assessments and other interventions.
- Ensuring education, training and employment opportunities are integral to the support service, enabling customers to develop life skills.
- Promoting high customer involvement, consultation and communication.
- Maintaining accurate records and a support planning database.
- Conducting surveys and inclusion solutions to ensure programmes meet all customers' needs.
- Adhering to health and safety and safeguarding requirements.
- Maintaining specialised knowledge and sharing it with colleagues to improve services.
- Specialism in the mental health area.
- Ensure compliance with Riverside's policies on equality, diversity, health and safety, and safeguarding.
- Fully incorporate customers' views in service development.
- Assess risk and apply control measures in alignment with legislation.
- Understand organisational role and contribute to profitability and efficiency.
- Deliver customer-led outcomes with accountability for tangible results.
- Adhere to corporate policies and funder requirements for effective service delivery.
- Use appropriate IT systems and maintain professional, timely records.
- Attend training and development opportunities as required.
- Model Riverside values and motivate colleagues towards high quality, customer oriented services.
- Participate in management meetings and encourage innovation.
- Undertake personal development to stay current with housing and customer service developments.
- Ensure compliance with Equality, Diversity, Safeguarding, and data quality policies.
- Promote Riverside locally.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Experience of working with vulnerable customer groups.
- Experience delivering structured support in housing or social care.
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and willingness to learn specific systems used within Care and Support.
- Understanding of the PIE approach.
