Job Description

A pivotal, highly visible role where your analysis shapes real investment decisions
This privately owned, well-funded care provider has doubled in size over the last 12 months, and it has further growth ambitions. To support that, they need someone at the heart of the growth strategy.

I'm now exclusively recruiting for an Acquisitions & Development Manager to join the business, reporting directly to the Commercial Director and Group Finance Director.

You'll support new build developments, service reprovision and acquisitions, working closely with the MDs and senior leadership team.

You'll own bespoke financial modelling, M&A and tender analysis, and the business cases that go to the monthly Investment Committee.

You'll also support due diligence, run post-investment reviews and monitor performance against funding covenants.

If you're a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, and the commercial judgement to challenge investment proposals with confidence, this is one for you.

Healthcare or corporate finance/transaction services experience is a bonus, but not essential. It would be ideally suited to someone looking to take their first step out of TS, M&A or Corporate Finance in Practice, though the business is happy to consider someone with relevant industry experience.

The key duties of the role will include:

  • Leading M&A and tender analysis
  • Preparing business cases for the monthly Investment Committee
  • Supporting due diligence on potential acquisitions
  • Carrying out post-investment reviews to track performance against the original case

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified accountant - Essential
  • Have advanced Excel and financial modelling skills - Essential
  • Have strong commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge investment proposals - Essential
  • Have healthcare or corporate finance/transaction services experience - Desirable, but not essential

What's on offer:

  • Hybrid working in Leeds
  • Direct exposure to the Commercial Director, Group Finance Director, MDs and senior leadership
  • A pivotal role where your analysis directly shapes investment decisions
  • The chance to be part of a fast-growing, well-funded business with further growth ambitions
