Hays Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts Technician to join a dynamic and growing team based in Nottingham. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with hybrid working available after probation.
About the Role:
As an Accounts Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial data. You'll be working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, so strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and processing financial transactions
• Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts
• Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting audits and financial reporting
• Liaising with clients and colleagues across departments

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in a similar accounts or finance role
• AAT qualified or working towards (or equivalent experience)
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Willingness to travel to Nottingham City Centre regularly
