Accounts Receivable Specialist - €60/hour - Amsterdam (Hybrid) - 6-Month Contract
Location: Amsterdam (2 days per week on-site)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: €60 per hour

Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) professional with a strong background in finance operations and a keen eye for detail? We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a dynamic international team based in Amsterdam on a 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately post and allocate incoming cash payments (bank transfers and direct debits) to customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate records for remittances and AR transactions.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and support month-end close processes.
• Collaborate within one of the AR sub-teams:
• Direct Debit: Manage DD collections and processing.
• GLs: Oversee SOX controls and month-end responsibilities.
• Autobank: Enhance automatic payment allocation systems.
• Liaise regularly with banks, third-party providers, and internal teams across multiple levels.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance (or related field).
• 3-5 years' experience in Accounts Receivable or similar financial operations roles.
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong SAP and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Proactive, accountable, and highly organised.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in process improvement or automation is a plus.
• Culturally aware and internationally minded.
