What you'll do- Oversee the day-to-day operational Accounts Payable processes, ensuring workloads are covered and tasks are completed to a high standard
- Assist the Transaction Manager with managing a team of up to 6
- Work in the London HQ office, with a requirement to work in the office 3 days a week
- 12-month FTC role
- Collaborate with the Transaction Manager to improve the function, proactively identify areas for improvement and highlight inefficiencies in systems and processes to create and operate a global centre of excellence
- Produce a monthly KPI pack for the Transaction Manager to review
- Ensure new joiners have the appropriate training and knowledge to perform their roles
- Resolve Accounts Payable queries with the team in an efficient and timely manner
- Drive process improvements and the automation of the Accounts Payable HOP workstream
- Be a positive role model for the team, supportive to all team members and an ambassador for Finance Operations
- A good understanding and working knowledge of the AP process end to end
- Experience of working in a global organisation
- Strong ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently but discern when to escalate a problem
- Great at building and maintaining relationships across all areas of the business, capable of engaging effectively with operational stakeholders
- Shows initiative through encouraging and initiating change and challenging the status quo
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- NetSuite experience advantageous (if applicable)
- Experience processing stock/grocery invoices and strong understanding of the process end to end preferred but not essential
