What you'll do

• Oversee the day-to-day operational Accounts Payable processes, ensuring workloads are covered and tasks are completed to a high standard
• Assist the Transaction Manager with managing a team of up to 6
• Work in the London HQ office, with a requirement to work in the office 3 days a week
• 12-month FTC role
• Collaborate with the Transaction Manager to improve the function, proactively identify areas for improvement and highlight inefficiencies in systems and processes to create and operate a global centre of excellence
• Produce a monthly KPI pack for the Transaction Manager to review
• Ensure new joiners have the appropriate training and knowledge to perform their roles
• Resolve Accounts Payable queries with the team in an efficient and timely manner
• Drive process improvements and the automation of the Accounts Payable HOP workstream
• Be a positive role model for the team, supportive to all team members and an ambassador for Finance Operations

What we're looking for

• A good understanding and working knowledge of the AP process end to end
• Experience of working in a global organisation
• Strong ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently but discern when to escalate a problem
• Great at building and maintaining relationships across all areas of the business, capable of engaging effectively with operational stakeholders
• Shows initiative through encouraging and initiating change and challenging the status quo
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• NetSuite experience advantageous (if applicable)
• Experience processing stock/grocery invoices and strong understanding of the process end to end preferred but not essential

Compensation

• We aim to pay every employee competitively for the role they are performing in their respective location
