Role Purpose

The Accounts Coordinator supports the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant client accounting activity across loc8me portfolios.

The role exists to:

  • Maintain accurate client account records and reconciliations
  • Support landlord and contractor payment processes
  • Provide a responsive, professional service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure branch teams have the financial support and reporting required to deliver operational performance

This role is delivery-focused and operates within accounting controls and processes set by the Client Accounts leadership team.

Key duties and requirements include:
  • Manage and respond to emails across multiple portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation across internal systems
  • Support day-to-day client accounts administration in line with loc8me processes
  • Support monthly payment runs to landlords and contractors in line with agreed schedules and approvals
  • Complete bank account management tasks and reconciliations
  • Escalate discrepancies, errors, or unusual activity promptly
  • Complete deposit registration activity in line with company procedures
  • Support contract and let sheet auditing to ensure data accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and clear record keeping
  • Produce reports as required for landlords and management
  • Provide branch and landlord support, including regular meetings where required
  • Support onboarding and training of new staff on relevant accounts processes (where applicable)
  • Work collaboratively with Credit Control and other teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Delivers accurate client accounting administration, reconciliations, and payment support
  • Maintains audit-ready documentation and strong attention to detail
  • Escalates issues, discrepancies, and risks to the Accounts Manager / Client Accounts Manager
  • Own credit control strategy or arrears decision-making
  • Hold final approval authority for payments (subject to loc8me controls)
Essential skills:
  • Experience in administration within an accounts or finance environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
  • Confident using Microsoft packages (including Excel) and shared systems (Google Sheets, Mac)
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility during peak periods, including occasional weekend work

  • Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)
  • Salary: £29,000-£32,000 DOE
  • Location: Office-based, Loughborough
