Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow (Remote with occasional travel)

The Team

You'll be joining a well-established Accounts & Business Advisory team that supports a diverse client base across multiple sectors. With over 35 professionals in the team and more than 180 across the firm globally, they offer the benefits of scale while maintaining a personal, supportive atmosphere.

The Role

As an Accounts & Business Advisory Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio while playing a key leadership role within the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day relationships with clients, offering proactive, strategic advice to help them grow.

  • Oversee and review statutory accounts, management accounts, and ad hoc financial reporting.

  • Interpret financial data to provide meaningful insights and impact-focused advice.

  • Manage, mentor and develop junior team members.

  • Identify opportunities to add value or provide additional services to clients.

  • Drive continuous improvement across processes, reporting and team operations.

  • Maintain high technical standards, offering support on complex issues and reviews.

What You'll Bring:

  • A relevant accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) or significant experience in a similar role.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • A collaborative mindset and passion for developing others.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients.

  • A genuine interest in innovation, technology and how financial services can better support business growth.

  • A growth mindset and drive for continual improvement.
