Are you a detail-driven Finance Administrator who thrives on keeping things accurate, organised, and on track? We're working with a well-established business in Farnborough who are looking for a reliable and proactive finance professional to join their team on a 6-month temporary contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong transactional finance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
The Role
Working as part of the finance team, you'll support day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coding invoices, bills, and credit card transactions accurately
- Chasing missing invoices and receipts for credit card and personal expenses
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Setting up and processing weekly payment runs
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts payable, or finance administration role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confidence chasing outstanding paperwork and liaising with suppliers
- Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
- A proactive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work to deadlines
