Accountant

Are you looking for your first move from accountancy practice into a commercial fast paced company? Perhaps you are working in audit or an accounts role looking to progress. An organisation based in Southampton are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This role is hybrid working 3 days in the office per week and 2 days remote working.

The company are looking for someone who can deliver statutory, regulatory, and reporting to the highest standard while working closely with internal teams, auditors, and external partners.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare financial statements for individual entities and consolidated group companies (FRS102 & IAS).
• Support technical accounting projects, provide recommendations, and implement process/reporting changes.
• Assist with year-end processes, audit deliverables, and internal audits.
• Prepare FCA returns and regular facility reporting for financial backers.
• Contribute to external audit work streams.
• Take ownership of ad hoc projects as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA accountant
• Initiative, inquisitive and able to progress
