PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £45,000-£50,000 + London Weighting (£5,441)depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
The Account Manager, Brand Partnerships is responsible for supporting brand partnerships as a revenue driving line of business within the BBC Digital Brands portfolio, ensuring our content and media opportunities are fully embedded within the wider GM&S BBC Studios teams.
The team's purpose is to ensure that BBC Studios is a credible partner for endemic client categories, and that we can leverage these relationships to develop meaningful long-term partnerships.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
- Support the Head of Brand Partnerships to optimise the pre-sale and post-sale workflows to successfully utilise our existing and new workforce to respond to client requests.Meet regularly with programming and sales team members to discuss process and find new ways to improve workflows.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients; ensure responses to briefs are in-line with the advertising guidelines.
- Build trust and a clear line of communication with key stakeholders within the content and compliance teams and align on guidelines to exploit all IPs as efficiently as possible.
- Own process for development of presentation decks, co-ordinating across multiple teams including content development, insights, delivery and operations.
- Serve as the main point of contact between internal stakeholders (i.e. creative, production, social media) and external stakeholders including clients and agencies.
- Track all deliverables (content and media), ensuring they adhere to set timelines.
- Build and strengthen client relationship to achieve long-term partnerships. Manage post-sale process as key point of contact for clients.
- Generate progress reports and produce post-campaign reports for clients, working with Paid Social Manager.
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly.
ESSENTIAL
- Mid-level professional experience in a client-facing account manager role at a broadcast, media owner or media agency
- Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
- Extensive experience of project managing projects / workstreams to successful outcomes.
- Demonstrates strong organisational and planning skills and manages conflicting priorities to meet deadlines.
- Proactively acquires knowledge and takes the initiative in implementing solutions to improve processes and drive the momentum of projects.
- Excellent communication (spoken, written, listening), attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding and interest in the world of digital and use of social channels e.g. Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat
