DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Account Manager with a background in selling to the legal sector to join our team. This hybrid role involves developing new business opportunities, participating in legal events nationwide, and retaining and growing revenues from Dye & Durham's key clients. The primary focus will be on Business Law clients, including Corporate Due Diligence and Insights, Company Formations, Corporate Secretarial, and Entity Management.
While working within the Business Law team to support existing and prospective clients, you will also collaborate closely with the wider UK Sales team and management to ensure best practices and internal policies are followed.
Key Responsibilities- Global Sales: Collaborate with various sales teams to create or develop solutions for Global Law Firms.
- Target: Achieve or exceed sales targets through business development and account management.
- Account Management: Maintain regular contact with clients, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and aim to maximize clients' annual spend with Dye & Durham.
- Client Intelligence: Gather and share insights from clients regarding their needs and feedback on products and solutions.
- Relationship Building: Develop and sustain relationships with decision-makers and influencers within law firms and legal organizations.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Business Law solutions and their benefits.
- Consultative Selling: Use a consultative approach to understand client needs, tailor solutions, and cross-sell or upsell when appropriate.
- Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments.
- Collaboration: Work with product development and marketing teams to align strategies and communicate product features effectively.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular updates, forecasts, and reports to management.
- Cold Calling: Supplement inbound leads by reaching out to former clients and leveraging existing client relationships.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in B2B sales with a proven track record, especially with large client accounts.
- Industry Knowledge: At least 2 years' experience in the legal sector, familiar with legal software solutions.
