Job Description

What will you do?

As an Associate Vice President (AVP) of Account Management, you will lead client success by managing a core portfolio of Credit clients, nurturing relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring exceptional service. This role requires adaptability in a dynamic environment where priorities shift and urgent client needs arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Ownership: Manage a portfolio of Credit clients, building strong relationships with decision-makers at all levels, from analysts to CIOs.

  • Revenue Growth: Drive renewals, cross-selling, and expansion, taking full commercial responsibility for your territory.

  • Strategic Planning: Participate in quarterly territory and account planning, contributing to overall strategy.

  • Client Advocacy: Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring needs are met and feedback is communicated effectively.

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate client data in Salesforce, forecast effectively, and track performance.

  • Leadership: Mentor and manage an Associate, aligning priorities and providing coaching.

  • Feedback Loop: Collect and communicate client insights to relevant teams.

You will be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values open communication, adaptability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience: Proven track record in account management with experience in achieving revenue goals. Subscription-based selling experience is a plus.

  • Skills: Strong renewal and sales skills, commercial acumen, financial understanding (helpful but not essential), and proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to engage with all levels, from analysts to executives.

  • Behaviours: Flexibility, confidence, organization, adaptability, and a customer-centric mindset. Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for finance and success.

  • Bonus: Experience in fixed-income markets or familiarity with hedge funds and credit firms is advantageous.
