Job Description

Account Manager Benelux


My client is a leading distributor of Tier 1 solar and renewable energy products in Europe, with a strong focus on quality, service and international distribution? They support installers, EPCs and resellers with the latest solar technology and a reliable supply chain.


As an Account Manager for the Benelux region, you will be responsible for increasing their market share by building strong relationships with solar installers. You will represent their high-quality product portfolio, providing technical and commercial support to help installers grow with reliable delivery and excellent service.


Main responsibilities:


  • Managing and expanding a customer portfolio of solar installers in the BENELUX.
  • Actively approaching new customers through networking, market research and acquisition.
  • Selling solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting systems and other renewable energy products.
  • Providing technical advice and tailor-made offers.
  • Supervising the entire sales process - from first contact to after-sales.
  • Representing my client at regional trade shows, networking events, and customer visits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, logistical, financial) for a flawless customer experience.
  • Meticulous tracking of CRM data and sales forecasts.


Requirements:


  • Demonstrable experience in B2B sales, preferably in the solar, electrical or construction sectors.
  • Insight into the solar installation market and knowledge of the regional dynamics within the Benelux.
  • Strong communication skills and able to build trust quickly.
  • Commercial insight and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel within the Benelux.
  • Independent, result-oriented and customer-driven.
