Description

In this role, you will work within the FINEX National Professional Indemnity team, providing outstanding client service and support to a diverse portfolio of SME clients across various industry sectors, including but not limited to; Miscellaneous, Design and Construction, Architects, Engineers, Accountants, and Independent Financial Advisers.

You will be part of an established team of Account Handlers/Executives based in Ipswich and Manchester, with the successful candidate working from Ipswich. You will manage a portfolio of clients, focusing on retention and account development. Your responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, providing advice, and ensuring clients have appropriate insurance coverage to meet their needs.

The role involves utilizing various PI facilities and the wider open market as appropriate. You will work closely with Network Brokers, Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Retail GB teams, and maintain direct client relationships. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs, and providing expert advice.
  2. Managing day-to-day client service queries.
  3. Arranging mid-term adjustments as needed.
  4. Preparing broking documentation and negotiating terms with insurers.
  5. Familiarizing yourself with facility wordings.
  6. Achieving client retention targets, cross-selling, and up-selling where appropriate.
  7. Encouraging new business referrals from existing clients.
  8. Managing workflows and ensuring system updates in line with compliance.
  9. Collaborating with Mumbai and A&S teams to ensure timely service delivery and premium settlements.
  10. Operating within business policies, procedures, and FCA principles, including Treating Customers Fairly.
  11. Maintaining orderly electronic files within CEM guidelines.
  12. Supporting accurate revenue forecasting and tracking.
Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Experience in Professional Indemnity insurance is beneficial but not essential.
  • High-level client service skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels with clients, prospects, insurers, and external specialists.
  • Strong workload management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to represent the practice and WTW with integrity and credibility.
  • Experience working with processes and systems supporting client service delivery.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Knowledge of Willis Towers Watson products and services.
  • Understanding of insurance markets to effectively serve clients and support WTW needs.
