What you'll doThe Account Executive is a high impact position combining relationship management and revenue expansion. The ideal candidate enjoys a dynamic, fast paced, technology driven environment and shows a proven track record of driving growth in a SaaS technology company. This role is an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial.
Responsibility
- Deliver programmatic engagement with existing Docusign clients to develop and maintain relationships while helping to grow incremental revenue by uncovering additional use cases and positioning the broader Docusign agreement cloud.
- Qualify sales opportunities using Docusign's sales methodology and metrics, assessing client fit and success criteria.
- Position Docusign's value proposition as part of the overall business solution, linking benefits back to key client business issues.
- Expand the Docusign solution beyond implementation, consistently seeking new business opportunities through presentation, recommendation, and upselling of products, services, and partner solutions.
- Process sales orders and facilitate customer onboarding.
- Coordinate customer needs with other Docusign resources such as professional services, training, product management, and marketing.
- Enlist customers to participate in and/or speak at Docusign and partner events.
- Provide accurate, timely reports and forecasts for management.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated knowledge of Docusign's products and services.
- Maintain current, accurate account information and lead follow ups in the CRM database.
- Manage overall customer loyalty and act as an internal advocate and escalation point to clients.
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be a weekly in office expectation.)
What you bringBasic
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in consultative sales and account management, preferably within a SaaS model.
- Experience using sales force automation tools (), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred
- Consistent track record meeting and/or exceeding individual sales targets and quotas.
- Experience in services or consulting delivery is a plus.
- Ability to handle a large volume of concurrent client relationships.
- Ability to identify, critique, suggest, and implement intelligent changes to client business optimization processes.
- Ability to anticipate change and prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to work as a team and independently.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, able to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- BS/BA degree.
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
