Who You Are / Your Next Challenge We're seeking a driven and experienced sales Account Executive who will play a central role in acquiring new UK corporate clients. You'll take ownership of the full sales cycle for SME and Mid-Market opportunities, from origination and qualification through to closing and onboarding, with a clear focus on identifying FX risk and international payment needs across priority industries. Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver New Business Acquisition
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified UK SME & Mid-Market prospects.
  • Direct outreach through prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, and commercial closing.
  • Engage key decision-makers (CFOs, Finance Directors, Treasurers) and tailor sales approach to position Moneycorp's FX and payment solutions.
  • Drive consistent revenue generation and client onboarding activity in line with monthly targets.
  • Work with strategic partners to identify and establish deep and long-lasting reciprocal relationships.
2. Sell Through Insight and Market Understanding
  • Develop working knowledge of FX markets, macroeconomic themes, and client-specific treasury drivers.
  • Guide clients through the benefits of FX risk management and payment optimisation.
  • Share relevant insights to enhance client credibility and improve conversion rates.
  • Teach clients on product fit and practical use of solutions to support their business goals.
3. Lead Activity and Pipeline Management
  • Maintain high outbound sales activity levels across outbound calls, meetings, and sales campaigns.
  • Use CRM to accurately track pipeline stages, revenue forecasts, and client engagement.
  • Convert self-sourced opportunities and collaborate with internal campaigns to maximise deal flow.
4. Coordinate Internal Execution and Client Onboarding
  • Manage internal stakeholders including compliance, credit, and onboarding teams to progress client accounts efficiently.
  • Prepare internal credit requests where required and manage deal progress through internal approvals.
  • Ensure new clients are onboarded swiftly and are trading within agreed timeframes.
  • Establish strong deal focused relationships with dealing execution team.
5. Develop Sector Understanding and Commercial Skills
  • Begin to build a commercial focus in key industry sectors.
  • Gain exposure to risk conversations, credit decisioning, and structured product logic.
  • Contribute to internal team learning and support wider sales initiatives.
  • Regular attendance and contribution to networking at focused business led events.
What we're looking for This role suits a commercially confident sales professional with a strong track record in B2B sales who's now looking to expand their experience through consultative, insight-led selling. You'll work directly with your Head of Sales and a team of Account Executives / Business Developers, supporting sector-focused campaigns while developing your commercial acumen, product knowledge, and ability to lead client conversations to close.
  • Strong B2B sales or business development background in FX, financial services, or fintech.
  • End-to-end sales experience, including closing and onboarding.
  • Confident engaging mid-senior decision-makers in finance and operations.
  • Proven ability to deliver against commercial KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Understanding of international payments, FX solutions, and commercial risk.
  • Experience working in a consultative or sector-aligned sales environment.
