Joining our high-performing Sales Team, you will spend your time speaking to some of the most interesting founders and senior stakeholders in UK start-ups to learn about their businesses and promote the advantages of the SeedLegals platform, in order to grow our new customer base and revenues. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a track record of hitting and exceeding new business sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising directly with founders and decision-makers daily from the most innovative startups to identify the perfect fundraising product and strategy for their goals.
  • Effectively managing an exciting portfolio of up to 100 startups through CRM, ensuring efficient lead prioritisation and excellent communication throughout the sales cycle.
  • Understanding the nuances of individual customer needs and demonstrating exactly how the SeedLegals platform can support them.
  • Building good rapport with founders and providing excellent user experience, managing them from initial enquiry to onboarding onto the platform and first purchase.
  • Working with wider teams in the business to proactively identify new ways to help SeedLegals grow, from product changes in line with user feedback to innovating the sales strategy.
  • Building an in-depth knowledge of the UK startup and fundraising scene through regular training and exposure to serial entrepreneurs and investors.
  • You are hungry and driven to progress your career in sales.
  • Ideally, you have some background or interest in business, finance, or law.
  • You have a track record of consistently exceeding sales targets, ideally in a similar B2B role or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • A self-starter who also enjoys being part of a team.
  • You are excited by the opportunity to interact with startup founders every day.
  • You enjoy change and excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • You enjoy building rapport and nurturing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You enjoy learning new things quickly and will relish the opportunity to become an expert on all SeedLegals products.
  • You have exceptional people skills, demonstrating active listening, empathy, and curiosity.
  • You have a growth mindset and are always seeking to learn, improve, and develop yourself.
  • It would be advantageous but not essential to have a solid understanding of sales methodologies, including MEDDIC and SPIN selling, to align our value proposition to the clients' needs.
