Account Director

Following our appointment as the exclusive catering and hospitality partner for the new London Museum, we are looking for an experienced AccountDirector to mobilise and lead this exciting contract.

This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for the overall performance of the account. You will build strong, trusted relationships with the Museum leadership team, key stakeholders, partners, and building management, while working closely with the on-site Green & Fortune team to deliver outstanding day-to-day operations.

As a high-profile cultural destination, the London Museum presents a real opportunity for growth. Achieving and exceeding agreed targets, developing new propositions, and strengthening the partnership over time will be central to your success.

The person

The successful person will exude hospitality. Immaculate presentation and people skills are required. The ability to engage, support and lead conversations with the most senior people, as well as with all ranks within the team will be key. Financial management skills, excellent technical capability and the running of a confident and established team are essential attributes.

They must have sound leadership skills, clear decision-making processes and be highly organised. They will need to fully immerse in the London Museum vibe and become a trusted part of the team. They should have an excellent knowledge of the London food and drink scene, and have proven skills in understanding social media, marketing, and what's on trend. In addition, experience of large scale events delivered to a high standard is a distinct advantage.

The appointed individual needs the flexibility to work within the business needs to deliver superlative outcomes. This is a high profile opening and the successful candidate will need to commit fully to the demands of a seven-day-a-week operation with a creative programme that has a fully integrated food and beverage provision.

Key Responsibilities Operations

• Deliver exemplary f & b operations across the Museum
• Constantly review, innovate and deliver change into our food and beverage programme
• Be the face of the business across the site
• Lead and progress companywide initiatives - training, sustainability, staff welfare
• Lead on event sales initiatives
• Liaise with the Museum team at all levels and manage the relationship on behalf of G & F

Team Management

• Recruit, lead and direct the senior team.
• Have good relations with all staff across the business
• Ensure great relations at all levels of the team to keep a grassroots approach to communication

Financials

• Full P & L accountability for the site
• Analytical review and report writing
• Driving event and retail sales across the sites
• Cost management

Relationships

• Work hand in hand with all stakeholders
• Be Green & Fortune's lead contact on day to day communications across both sites
• Network within the Museum team, to build your profile and that of Green & Fortune

Creative Programme

• Pro-actively lead all current and future creative projects with the assistance of the Marketing and Partnerships Manager
• Be able to select, lead and support new business partners
• Manage the existing team to deliver successful outcomes in line with the budgets
