Job Description
An Account Director is a senior role responsible for managing the overall relationship between Stark and its key suppliers. This position involves working closely with high-value and strategic accounts, ensuring supplier satisfaction with the services provided, and identifying opportunities to drive business growth. The Account Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Supplier Account Management team, ensuring they deliver exceptional service, resolve issues promptly, and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with suppliers.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Day to Day management of two Strategic Account Managers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value suppliers, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.
- Regularly engage with key suppliers to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals, fostering a collaborative partnership approach.
- Develop and implement account strategies that align Stark's objectives with the supplier's business goals, identifying opportunities to expand the scope of work and maximise value for both parties.
- Lead the creation and execution of tailored plans to grow business through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase revenue, ensuring that account plans are aligned with both the supplier's and Stark's growth strategies.
- Lead contract renewals, renegotiations, and discussions around service terms, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Implement strategies to retain suppliers, prevent churn, and resolve any concerns or dissatisfaction swiftly.
- Deliver accurate revenue forecasts and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure sustained client engagement and success.
- Represent Stark at conferences, exhibitions, and other public forums to promote Stark's energy solutions and build brand awareness.
- Participate in ongoing training and learning activities to stay current with industry trends, best practices, and develop professional skills.
- Adhere to all Stark policies, procedures, and working practices, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Use work equipment safely and collaborate with managers to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required to support the broader business objectives.
