Account and Customer Support Manager (Ireland)

About the Role

A new opportunity in professional horticulture. Klasmann-Deilmann is seeking an Account and Customer Support Manager to serve as the primary contact for commercial growers across Ireland. This hybrid commercial and technical role combines relationship management, inside sales, order processing, and hands-on technical support.

Location: Rathowen, Co.Westmeath (80% Office-based / 20% Customer visits across Ireland)

Reports to: Managing Director / Sales Director

Key Responsibilities

• Account Management: Build strong relationships with Irish growers, handle day-to-day enquiries, and manage quotations.
• Sales Administration: Manage the sales order process, from order entry through production, delivery and invoicing for Irish customers, while supporting select UK accounts.
• Technical Support:Provide first-line advice on growing media selection, coordinate complex requirements with European technical teams, and support product trials.
• On Site Visits: Spend 20% of your time visiting commercial nurseries to review crop performance and support trials.
• Systems & Development: Maintain CRM/ERP records and assist with sales forecasting and seasonal business development projects.

Requirements

• Education/Experience: A qualification in Horticulture, Agricultural Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Skills: Strong organisational, administrative, and communication abilities with good IT proficiency (MS Office).
• Licence: Full, clean driving licence.
• Preferred: Experience in commercial horticulture, nursery production, customer service, or CRM/ERP systems.
