Accessories Product Designer

Overview

We have a fabulous opportunity for our client, a prestigious global group company looking for a talented Accessories Designer to join their London team, working primarily on Juicy Couture and Ted Baker Sport. You'll be creating accessories such as bags, headwear, and knit for both men's and women's collections. The ideal candidate will have experience in accessories design and can show technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Sketching, technical drawing and illustration
• Managing multiple design projects and deadlines at once
• Creating detailed technical drawings and specifications for accessories, ensuring clear communication with production teams.
• Attending fittings, reviews, and production meetings to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet the brand's quality standards.
• Staying innovative and collaborative with merchandising, sales and marketing teams to allow designs to best meet commercial objectives.

Person Specifications

• Experienced in soft accessories design.
• An accessories portfolio that shows creativity, commercial awareness, and attention to detail. (including bags, socks and headwear is a bonus)
• Experience with materials, construction, and production processes is essential.
• Strong technical skills, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Procreate Software.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and the ability to incorporate them into accessory designs.

Compensation

Up to £0.00 per annum + Competitive Day Rate

£37000 - £38000 per annum + Hybrid working
