Job Description
Access and Safeguarding Lead Officer - Adults Services

£500 per day

North East

fixed term - 12 months

About the role:

We are looking for a qualified Social Worker to support the current Access & safeguarding Lead officer in the delivery of a number of projects and initiatives within this field. This will include:

  • Review of the front door model including scoping the opportunity of AI technology for initial advise and assistance to residents, learning from others.
  • Determining demand alongside forecasting future demand presenting to the front door, and the resources required to manage this
  • Reviewing the process flow between access and locality teams
  • Determining the most suitable business process for links with iSPA
  • Supporting with BAU activity including links with Tees Adults Safeguarding Board, and investigating the safeguarding concerns, conversion to s.42 enquiries and outcomes.
  • Understanding the workflow from hospital to access with regard to pathway 1,2 and 3
  • Supporting with the structure design of the Directorate.

This post will be delivered as Hybrid working, with a minimum of 1day in the office.

What you need:

  • A degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
  • At least 3 yearsPQE direct employmentwithinEnglish Local Authorities
  • Completed relevant post-qualifying training
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication and written skills
