A vacancy for a A400M AC0 Simulator Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the framework of A400M Program activities for "Development and Test Environment" domain, the simulator manager missions will be:

- Acts as an interface for simulator users.

- Helps simulator user preparing the test sessions and assists them during the tests process to optimize efficiency of the simulator session.

- Ensures that the simulator configuration is compliant with the test need and controls all limitations (A/C0 particularities, warnings, etc.).

- Transfers a summary of "test means" needs (corrections, evolution) to the Simulator Lead Engineer, specifying the requirement date.

- Plans the test activities in accordance with feedback from the Simulator Lead Engineer (date of integration of corrections/evolution) and performs simulator acceptance (overall V&V) before delivery to testers.

- Coordinates with stakeholders (SLE, SFC, Tests Strategist): Simulator Session, Simulator Support and Operation; Simulation Standard; Working Party; FIB simulation package; Mock up Support; Simulator Campaign; Environment models; Tools session; Means Maintenance support session; Flight Loop validation; Simulator Management Assistance; Cockpits tests; Multi systems tests.

SKILLS

As successful candidate, you will need:

- Previous experience in AIRBUS A/C0 Simulators is mandatory.

- Chartered Engineer Aeronautical/Mechanical degree or equivalent.

- Good communication skills and pro-active approach to problem solving.

- Good English skills, verbal and written are essential.

- The ability to work in multidisciplinary team.

- Proactive, problem solving and decision making.

- Good leadership skills - Assertiveness.
