As part of the upcoming opening of a shelter reserved for women, we are hiring: A Housekeeper for the Women's Shelter (100%) - Permanent Contract Location: Lausanne Start Date: As soon as possible What you bring to our mission Through your commitment and technical skills, you directly contribute to the quality of life and welcome within the accommodation structure. The Chablais shelter accommodates migrant women in vulnerable situations, with or without children. It offers secure accommodation and social support aimed at autonomy, protection, and well-being of individuals. You will ensure the proper functioning of the shelter, its maintenance, daily activities, and directly contribute to the safety and well-being of residents. Your service orientation, rigor, and ability to enhance the living environment are key. You will join a multidisciplinary and supportive team, where mutual assistance and sharing of experiences are essential. We seek a person who wants to fully invest, contribute to the quality of life in the shelters, and engage in respecting human dignity."Your key missions You will ensure the technical management of the accommodation structure, including the maintenance of interior and exterior spaces as well as technical upkeep. Daily, in contact with residents, you coordinate and supervise cleaning activities carried out with the residents and ensure waste management, recycling, and the organization of welcoming new arrivals and their children, providing general information on the operation of the shelter and ensuring compliance with current regulations. You will manage related follow-ups for the structure, including processing orders, mail, shelter plans, and periodic safety checks. You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners, ensuring important aspects of life in the shelter are maintained.You hold a federal certificate of aptitude (CFC) in a relevant field or a technical diploma and have at least 3 years of professional experience in a social or socio-medical environment, with contact with vulnerable individuals/women. You possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. You are proficient in French, both spoken and written, as well as office software, and demonstrate an interest in the field of social work and intercultural environments, which constitutes an advantage in this engaged workplace setting. 5 weeks of vacation (6 weeks after 50 years old) Very good social benefits Meaningful projects in a stimulating intercultural context The recruitment process consists of 3 steps: 1.
