Overview

A flexible, discreet nanny is sought for a 21 month old child in Truro, Cornwall. The role requires a sole charge position, with a possible 2-3 day a week schedule. The nanny should be available to start ASAP and can gradually become a valued member of the family.

Responsibilities

• Look after and supervise the child, planning age appropriate and stimulating activities to reach developmental milestones, both indoors and outdoors.
• Light housekeeping tasks such as re loading the dishwasher and keeping play areas and the kitchen tidy.
• Occasional travel on holidays and business trips (not essential).
• Maintain discretion while parents work from home.

Qualifications & Experience

• Level 3 or equivalent childcare qualification (e.g., Montessori or NNEB diploma).
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with children aged 2 years or younger.
• Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid certificates before application.
• Own car with business insurance.
• Professional insurance (nanny insurance) strongly recommended.

Hours & Pay

Work 9 am - 6 pm, 2-3 days a week (Monday excluded). Pay is £18 per hour (negotiable) or £25 272 per annum gross, based on 3 days. This is a permanent position.
