Your mission A clerk-lawyer or a clerk-lawyer 2, assistant, 5 months at 100% class 22 What is your mission? The Criminal Justice Court is the highest cantonal authority in criminal matters. At the heart of a superior jurisdiction and within a team of experienced jurists, you assist the judges in all legal tasks within their competence and contribute significantly to criminal law, the development of cantonal case law as well as the taking of minutes during hearings. As a clerk-lawyer, you assist the judges of the Criminal Court (Criminal Appeals and Revision Chamber). You provide your legal expertise to the judges in handling the most complex cases and participate in the legal reflections that shape case law. Your responsibilities include: - Independently writing complete draft judgments in various areas of criminal law - Participating in conducting in-depth legal research - Drafting minutes from hearings - Occasionally preparing legal opinions Your profile? Holding a bachelor's or master's degree in Swiss law and a certificate, you have three years of professional experience in the field of legal skills and language skills. Your excellent knowledge of criminal law is complemented by a perfect command of French and remarkable writing skills. You possess a good understanding of German, particularly legal German. Your developed analysis and synthesis skills enable you to approach cases with your own reflection and a real ability to establish personal connections. Your intellectual rigor and integrity are recognized. You demonstrate openness to criticism and can manage a significant workload while resisting stress.
