Contract Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced A&E SpR to join the Emergency Department at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy and dynamic Emergency Department, managing a wide range of acute presentations while supporting junior medical staff within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work across both Majors and Minors within the Emergency Department

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage emergency presentations safely and effectively

  • Support and supervise junior doctors during shifts

  • Work collaboratively within the wider multidisciplinary Emergency Medicine team

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records

  • Contribute to maintaining high clinical standards and patient flow within the department

What We're Looking For

  • Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practise

  • Previous UK Emergency Medicine experience at SpR level or above

  • Valid ALS and ATLS certification

  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
