7.5T HGV Driver

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial seeks a 7.5T HGV Driver for a full-time, temporary role with permanent possibilities in Quedgeley. Offering £14 per hour, this position operates Monday to Friday with starts between 04:00 and 07:00. The workload is ad-hoc but ongoing, ideal for those holding a valid Category C1 licence, including newly qualified drivers. Daily duties involve multi-drop deliveries of up to ten stops, utilising a tail lift and sack truck for loading and unloading. You will maintain precise delivery paperwork, provide professional service, and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy. This role suits a reliable individual seeking steady work and potential long-term progression.

Your Duties:

• Multi-drop deliveries (up to 10+ drops per day)
• Loading and unloading using a tail lift and sack truck
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Keeping your vehicle clean and roadworthy

Requirements:

• Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) Licence CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 9 points for minor offences
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
