The Role

Resolve Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for 2 x 7.5T / HGV Class 2 EOLT Drivers to join our client's operation in Plymouth.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the collection of end-of-life tyres (EOLT) across the local area.

This is a physically demanding role, with heavy lifting involved, so applicants must be comfortable with manual handling and working in a hands-on environment.

Hours & Pay

• Standard 7.5T Driver
• 40-hour contract
• 05:00 start until finish
• £15.21 per hour
• Overtime: £20.23 per hour
• Saturday rate: £22.82 per hour
• Approximate annual salary: £31,723.80 before overtime
• EOLT Driver
• 40-hour contract
• 05:00 start until finish
• £16.21 per hour
• Overtime: £21.56 per hour
• Saturday rate: £24.32 per hour
• Approximate annual salary: £33,809.52 before overtime

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out collections of end-of-life tyres
• Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and responsibly
• Loading and unloading tyres
• Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting
• Completing vehicle and collection checks as required
• Providing a professional and reliable service to customers
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures

About You

• Hold the relevant 7.5T / HGV driving licence
• Have previous commercial driving experience
• Be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Have a good understanding of road safety and vehicle checks
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Have a professional attitude and good customer service skills
• Be comfortable with early morning starts
