7.5T Driver

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial seeks a 7.5T Driver for a manufacturer in Quedgeley.

This temporary role offers £14.50 to £16 per hour, with full-time or part-time hours available.

Shifts start between 04:00 and 07:00, Monday to Friday, on an ad-hoc basis with a temp-to-perm pathway.

Duties cover commercial deliveries of one to six drops daily, using a tail lift and pallet truck for loading and unloading, plus light handballing where care prevents product damage. Newly qualified drivers are welcome. You will manage delivery paperwork and maintain professional customer interactions. This position suits those seeking steady work and a possible permanent contract.

We're recruiting HGV 7.5T Drivers for a well-established independent manufacturer in Gloucester. If you're an experienced driver or newly qualified, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure regular work with the potential of a permanent position.

Your Duties:

• Commercial deliveries (up to 1-6 drops per day)
• Loading and unloading using a tail lift and pallet truck
• Light handballing of products while ensuring no marks or damages.
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Keeping your vehicle clean and roadworthy.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) Licence CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 9 points for minor offences
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
