7.5T (C1) and Class 2 (C) Drivers -Wanted- Leicestershire

Salary: £14.50 - £16.00 per hour

Contract: Temporary / Casual

The Role:

GTR Recruitment is currently seeking reliable 7.5T and Class 2 drivers for upcoming temporary and casual contracts across Leicestershire. We have a specific requirement for a 1-week 7.5T cover for a high-end engineering client in July, with ongoing work available for the right candidates.

this isnt an advert for 5/6 days a week every week this is for a casual driver who doesnt want the pressure of full time work but could do a few weeks here and there to top up the coffers.

What we offer:

Total Flexibility: This isn't a 60-hour-a-week grind. We won't call you every morning at 5:00 AM. You tell us when you want to work, and we match you to the gaps in our clients' schedules.

Clean, Professional Work: Our current July requirement is for a high-end engineering firm. This is clean work, usually moving specialized equipment or materials-no high-volume multi-drop or "courier style" madness.

Technical Respect: We are a training school first, not just a call centre. We understand tacho laws, load security, and vehicle maintenance. We won't ask you to "fudge" a manual entry or drive a sub-standard vehicle.

Transparent "All-In" Pay: No umbrella company fees or hidden deductions. We follow the FWA Brief 91 full-cost model. What we agree on as your rate is what you get.

No Agency Games: We are a technical training provider first. We understand the vehicles and the regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Category C or C1 License.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points (No DR/DD/IN codes).
• Professional attitude and reliability (References will be checked).
