3rd Line Support Mac Engineer

Are you a 3rd Line Mac Engineer with current SC clearance?

Our client is a specialist End User Compute (EUC) IT services provider, modernising secure digital workplaces for high-profile UK Central Government organisations.

In this role you will be part of a team of specialist Senior Mac EUC Engineers responsible for:

• Providing expert 3rd line and escalation support for macOS environments - the go-to authority for Apple technologies.
• Mentoring and coaching Mac Engineers and Trainee Engineers
• Designing, implementing, and optimising UEM solutions
• Enabling project delivery and supporting the Architecture Function.
• Driving service improvements, automation, and process optimisation.
• Ensuring secure, compliant, and user-centred support in line with Zero Trust principles.

Skills sought with:

• Extensive experience supporting Apple environments in enterprise or public sector environments.
• Advanced expertise with Workspace ONE and/or JAMF Pro (Jamf 300/400 certification desirable).
• Experience mentoring or leading technical staff within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Advanced knowledge of Apple Business Manager, ADE, VPP, and device life cycle management.
• Proficiency in Bash Scripting and automation for secure, auditable environments.
• Background in endpoint security, Zero Trust, access control, and vulnerability management.
• Demonstrable experience in enterprise-scale projects such as hardware refreshes, migrations, or UEM deployments.
