Job Description

We are delighted to be assisting one of our long-standing and genuinely lovely client families in Ascot. They are now looking for short term, full nanny nanny assistance, while dad is away on business for a few months.

We have previously placed nannies with this lovely client family and both sides have been very happy.

A local-ish nanny would be great, but they can also provide live in accommodation.

The start date is as soon as possible and the contract runs til end of October (probably Friday 23rd).

The family has two young children - a bright and energetic boy aged nearly 5- he will start reception in a couple ofweeks and a sweet two-year-old girl.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 7.00am to 7.00pm (60 hours per week). The role includes child-related housekeeping duties such as laundry, ironing, tidying, organising, and some light cleaning. The ideal candidate will also be confident in the kitchen and happy to cook healthy and varied meals. The candidate should be warm, discreet, proactive and efficient, with a calm and helpful presence. While a car is not required for the role, there is parking available if the nanny has a car.

The family is seeking someone who also enjoys working with children and is happy to assist mum - she and the dad are both genuinely super lovely!

They would particularly value someone who is used to working in busy households, with previous experience in similar roles, and who enjoys being part of a warm and respectful family environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years childcare experience
• Up to date Enhanced DBS, be on the DBS update service - you can apply through us.
• Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Right to work in UK (& already living in the UK) and have proof
• Good checkable, references for recent and relevant nanny work
• Please note this is a strictly Non smoking position.
