• Provide joinery and carpentry services to meet the needs of the board healthcare facilities, ensuring the safety and well being of patients by delivering planned maintenance, repair and installation services that represent quality and value for money.
• Provide a safe maintenance service to all elements of fabric/building/construction infrastructure within the board's hospitals and premises, assisting in the development of the estates function into a customer focused range of services.

• Post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record (child and/or adult regulatory group). If not a current PVG member, an application to Disclosure Scotland is required and must be deemed satisfactory before the post can begin.
• Due to legislative changes from 01 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal record check than is currently the case. If assessed as a regulated role, appointment will be subject to joining the PVG Scheme.
