We are offering an exciting full-time opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Band 7 Team Lead Physiotherapist to join our in-patient physiotherapy team at East Lothian Community Hospital. This leadership role involves managing and overseeing physiotherapy services across three Medicine of the Elderly (MOE) rehabilitation wards-two general and one pan-Lothian orthopaedic ward-supporting patients who are unable to be discharged from acute care due to illness or injury. The service plays a key role in enabling older adults with co-morbidities to return home and live well in the community. Our team delivers a person-centred, rehabilitation-focused and home first model of care and works closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team (MDT). The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy, with relevant post-graduate clinical experience in areas such as orthopaedics, neurology, and frailty, along with strong leadership and communication skills. In addition to providing clinical oversight, you will manage the team operationally and strategically, supporting the Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Service Lead in the continued development of the service.
