Role OverviewThe post involves providing expert clinical care for newborns across the neonatal service, working in partnership with families, carers, colleagues, and stakeholders. It requires utilizing advanced skills and knowledge to make highly complex, autonomous decisions regarding diagnosis and treatment. The role also includes providing values-based leadership to support the development of advanced nursing practice, fostering a positive learning environment, and advocating for evidence-based approaches to improve neonatal outcomes at local, regional, and national levels.
