2026 Graduate Programme - Property & Buildings - Building Structures

We are seeking Graduates for our Building Structures teams, who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. The role will involve working collaboratively with architects and other consultants to develop coordinated designs for the built environment.

- Bournemouth; Confidential Research Campus, Southampton
- The Babbage Building - a new Engineering department for the University of Plymouth
- New Energy Centres in Barking, Colchester and Bradford and a variety of Defence Projects
- Catterick Health Centre
- RAAC Surveys and remedial Design
- Review architectural plans and propose structural solutions.
- Perform load assessments and structural calculations.
- Draft and update structural drawings and BIM models.
- Attend design coordination meetings with architects and MEP teams.
- Visit construction sites to inspect structural elements and report findings.
- Carry out appraisals of existing buildings and report on their current condition and suitability for adaptation.
- Respond to queries from contractors and other design consultants.
- Research innovative materials, construction methods and design techniques.

Qualifications- Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Have an understanding of structural mechanics and building materials.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining structural concepts to non technical stakeholders and persuading others.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to complex building projects with interest in construction technology.
- Enthusiasm for creativity and problem solving.
- Desire to share new ideas and inspire peers.
Preferred start dates are April or September 2026.
