Job Description
Senior Amazon Media Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Lead the development and execution of L'Oréal UK & Ireland's Amazon Media strategy to accelerate growth and innovation across the group.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Define and own the Amazon media test & learn roadmap, aligning local priorities with the global learning agenda and divisions.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and support to divisions on Amazon full funnel planning and execution to drive desired KPIs (ROAS, NTB, etc).
  • Work closely with media agencies to ensure high quality day to day execution of Amazon campaigns and adherence to global standards and golden rules.
  • Establish and oversee group wide media governance to maximize efficiency and growth, while strategically aligning with divisional swimlanes.
  • Champion the usage of AMC across the organisation, empowering teams to leverage rich audience insights and custom builds to fuel their media strategy and drive efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with Amazon and the multi divisional e commerce team to develop a future forward innovation pipeline for retail media and continuously assess opportunities to grow.
  • Lead knowledge sharing and upskilling initiatives on Amazon for best practices across the organisation.
  • Foster strong relationships with Zone & Global media colleagues to build & share best practices and influence key issues affecting L'Oréal UK and Ireland.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Performance, other CDMO teams, multi divisional e commerce and divisional commercial and media teams to understand and support all areas of L'Oréal's Ecommerce and Digital Transformation Strategy.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem, its advertising products, and media capabilities.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects, define priorities, create work plans, and deliver results within established timelines.
  • Strong analytical skills and a natural affinity for numbers; able to extract & analyse raw data from platforms & tools, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Strong interest in the evolving media landscape and a good understanding of retail media's rising influence and its strategic place within the broader media ecosystem.
  • Good understanding of the role of various media channels & platforms, objectives, and measurement techniques.
  • The ability to translate complex technical information into language that can be easily understood.
  • Experience utilising tools such as PacVue, Amazon Ad Tech (desirable but not essential).
  • A positive attitude to ambiguity and ability to tackle problems with a structured approach.
  • Ability to build good working relationships with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex or technical matters in a simple way.
