12D M1/M2 Traffic Management Operative Required - Immediate Start

What we are looking for

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with traffic management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading traffic management clients.

All candidates must have experience in one or more of the positions below:

• M1 / M2 Operative

Scope of role

Qualified M1/M2 operatives will be working with both direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at required roads
• Managing the traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights, ensuring the public abides by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within the required time scales
• Setting up traffic lights
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic
• Ensuring the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times
• Being aware and complying to the provided RAMS
• Helping with the unloading/loading of materials
• Ensuring safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects

Skills & Experience

• Lantra approved traffic management qualifications
• Ability to pass a drugs & alcohol check
• Right to work in UK
• Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
