1:1 Tutor - NG5, Nottingham

Location: NG5, Nottingham
Hours: Part-Time Weekdays Between School Hours
Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate

TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Tutor to provide personalised tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across NG5, Nottingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students who may need additional help with their learning, confidence, and academic progress.

The Role
  • Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions.
  • Plan lessons tailored to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.
  • Support learners in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles, including pupils with SEN.
  • Build positive relationships and encourage confidence and independent learning.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 1 year's teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
  • Experience working with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.
  • SEN experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge in one or more core subjects.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
