About the Role

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within a primary school in Basildon.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning, develop their confidence and reach their full potential.

You will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to provide consistent, individualised support, helping the pupil access learning and engage positively with school life.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, ASD or additional needs is highly desirable
• A patient, calm and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to adapt support to meet an individual pupil's needs
• Confident supporting learning, engagement and positive behaviour
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a school team
