1:1 Teaching Assistant

Overview

1:1 Teaching Assistant - Rushden September Start Up to £105 per day (PAYE). We're looking for a caring and reliable 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Rushden from September. This is a rewarding role supporting a pupil on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access learning, build confidence and make the most of their time in school. Every day is different, so we're looking for someone who is patient, adaptable and happy to get involved in all aspects of school life.

Responsibilities

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Encouraging engagement, independence and positive behaviour
• Supporting learning both in and out of the classroom
• Building a positive relationship with the pupil and their family where appropriate

Requirements / Qualifications

• Has experience working with children, ideally in a school or support setting
• Is calm, patient and approachable
• Can build trust and positive relationships
• Is committed to helping every child reach their potential
• Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is happy to apply for one
