Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated 1-1 Teaching Assistant to support children with additional learning needs across settings in Bury.

About the job

Provide support in primary and secondary schools, working closely with teachers and specialists to support pupils with additional learning needs.

• Duration - Ongoing (Temporary contract)

• Rate - £103.95 per day (up to £104.95)
• Hours - 8:30 am-3:30 pm (term time only; times may vary)

Experience and Qualification

• Experience working with children in any capacity (voluntary work acceptable).
• Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
• Qualification in Education (Team Teach preferred but not essential).

Up-to-date safeguarding training is mandatory. A free safeguarding course is available through Prospero Teaching if not completed within the last 12 months. Strong behaviour management skills are essential.

Eligibility

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced Child Barred List DBS certificate or willingness to apply.
• Two professional child related references.
