1-1 SEN TA in a Primary School (Year 1) - September 2026 Start

Prospero Teaching are looking for an individual with SEN experience to work in a Primary School in Newmarket area to start September 2026. This will be supporting a Year 1 pupil with an EHCP, with particular focus on communication and interaction. Experience is essential. The role is ongoing temporary.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Newmarket Position - Support Contract or position start date - September 2026 Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing Contract type - Long-Term Temporary Full time/part time - Part time to Full time Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate around £95-110 per day Hours -8.30 am - 3.15pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience with SEN/SEMH is ESSENTIAL
• Previous TA/LSA experience is desirable
• GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references
