You set the energy and the pace of the day, keep the team and the school on the same page, and make sure every student leaves having learned something and enjoyed it.

Who you will be working with

PET-Xi delivers innovative, multi-award-winning programmes in schools across the country, for students from Primary through to GCSE. For 30 years we have supported over 300,000 learners nationwide to get the results they deserve.

You will work alongside our curriculum delivery experts in a team of three. The lessons are written and the materials are there. What the day needs from you is someone to lead the room.

What the job asks of you

• Be the class motivator. Lift the room and keep it lifted. Making the lessons fun is the method, not a bonus.
• Set the pace. Keep the session moving so every group gets through the content and nobody is left behind.
• Hold the room. Support classroom delivery and behaviour management with the rest of the team.
• Be the school's point of contact. Liaise with the school contact so the day runs the way the school expects.
• Complete the course admin. Accurately and on time, so the record of the day is as good as the day itself.

Who we are looking for

Experience in education or training is welcome, and not essential. We provide the training. What we need is someone who can walk into a school they have never visited, take charge of a room, and bring a team with them.

There are things you will need: professionalism and excellent timekeeping, an understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries, an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, and a commitment to ongoing training and development. What matters just as much:

• A proactive, can-do attitude.
• Strong people skills and the confidence to support learners.
• The ability to deliver a set programme well, as part of a team.
• Energy that lifts a room without needing volume.

A full UK driving licence and basic Microsoft Office skills are an advantage. We work nationally, so being able to travel up to an hour, or stay overnight when needed, is a real bonus.

Students forget most lessons. They remember the day learning was fun, and the adult who made it that way.
