We're Hiring a Yield & Wind Resource Specialist!

Join a fast-growing renewable energy company and help shape the future of wind power! We're looking for a Yield & Wind Resource Specialist to deliver high-quality wind assessments and optimize energy production across international projects.

Location: Madrid, Spain (Hybrid Work Model Available)

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform wind resource assessments using tools like WAsP, WindPRO, and OpenWind.
• Analyze meteorological data from masts, LiDAR, and SODAR systems.
• Conduct long-term energy yield assessments for new and existing wind farms.
• Validate and present energy production estimates for development and investment decisions.
• Support micro-siting and layout optimization in collaboration with engineering and development teams.
• Run uncertainty analyses and prepare reports for financing and stakeholders.
• Engage with external consultants, OEMs, and internal technical teams.

Continuous Improvement:

• Improve methods for data validation, modeling, and yield forecasting.
• Stay up to date with industry practices and tools to enhance assessment accuracy.

Project Support & Documentation:

• Deliver technical documentation and bankable reports.
• Maintain traceability of methodologies and assumptions used in analysis.

What We're Looking For:

Education:

Degree in Renewable Energy, Atmospheric Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in wind resource assessment and yield analysis.

Skills:

• Proficiency in wind modeling tools (WindPRO, WAsP, Python, etc.).
• Solid grasp of wind measurement technologies and statistical analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Collaborative mindset and autonomy in technical work.
