Reed Education is proud to be supporting a thriving, well-regarded junior school in the Wakefield area in their search for an exceptional Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a long-term, part-time basis (3 days per week).

The Role- Teaching a Year 5 class, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons aligned to the KS2 curriculum
- Working 3 days per week, with flexibility to follow either Mon-Weds or Weds-Fri
- Planning, marking and assessing in line with school expectations
- Collaborating closely with an experienced and welcoming KS2 team
- Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate Will:- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have experience teaching in Upper KS2 (ideally Year 5 or Year 6)
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and high expectations
- Be a creative, reflective practitioner with a passion for engaging learners
- Show commitment to inclusive education and meeting diverse pupil needs
- Thrive as part of a team-oriented and supportive staff culture
