Milk Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join one of our partner schools in L9. This welcoming and supportive school is committed to helping every child reach its full potential.
The Role- Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Start Date: After February Half Term
- Contract: Long Term
This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to grow and develop in a forward thinking Key Stage 2 environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons for Year 5 across the Primary Curriculum.
- Support pupils' academic progress and personal development with creative, inspiring teaching.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere.
- Track pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Manage behaviour confidently and consistently.
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child effectively.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS
- Strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum, particularly Key Stage 2
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- A creative, reflective, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
