Milk Education is partnering with a warm, supportive primary school in Leeds seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire learners, deliver engaging lessons, and play a key role in pupils' academic and personal development.

Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for your first class, this school offers a nurturing, collaborative environment where you can thrive.

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30-16:00

• Start Date:Flexible Start

• Contract: Week-by-week initially, with potential for a long-term or permanent role

• Teach and inspire a Year 5 class through creative, structured, and inclusive lessons
• Plan, deliver, and assess learning in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Set meaningful home learning tasks and provide effective feedback
• Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND
• Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, supportive classroom atmosphere
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents
• Uphold safeguarding and school behaviour policies

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE with QTS
• Experience teaching KS2 or confidence to step into a Year 5 environment
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• A proactive, positive, and enthusiastic approach
• Commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive learning experience
• ECTs are encouraged to apply
