About the Role

As the Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where all children can flourish. You will deliver creative lessons that challenge and inspire pupils while supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.

Working closely with colleagues across Key Stage 2, you will contribute to the school's collaborative culture and ensure that every child receives the support they need to achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
• Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Contributing to the wider life of the school communityMaintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and personal development

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching within primary education
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
• Has high expectations for all learners
• Is passionate about delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Is flexible, proactive, and able to hit the ground running
